Eric Kripke, creator and executive producer of The CW's series Supernatural, told SCI FI Wire that he's been waiting to get to the storyline in the upcoming third season ever since the show began. "This is the season to join the party," Kripke said in an interview. "Or for fans, this is the season they've been waiting for. From the beginning I was always like, 'Oh, man just let us get to season three.' Because season one and two we set the chess board, and in season three, really all hell breaks loose."

I commented to missyjack and said that so many shows I'd been jazzed for ended up sucking giant donkey balls in their second season and I abandoned them. So I was very wary and almost dreading s2 of SPN last summer. WOW. Was I EVER proved wrong, eh? So for this season I'm really, really excited. And I'm starting to want to get back into things hardcore. Summer's been hard on fandom but I HAVE FAITH IN KRIPKE and I'm ready for him to blow mah mind.

I just... I want to tuck him under my arm and carry him around like a football.

I really hope that s3 will be as wonderful as I hope it will be. A little bit more s1 than s2, is my wish with 'oh let's go and kill some demon ass' rather than 'i might kill my brother' angst (even though that was good but rewatching it is a bitch).

Kripke seems to be one of the few series creators that understands the fandom and tries to please the fans without ruining the show *coughonetreehillcough* In a way, he's like my new... Joss. I just love that he's such a fanboy about his own show :D
