Well. It's snowing outside.
That in itself isn't a big thing except that this town doesn't know how to drive or maintain the roads during the winter. So everyone either drives -30km/h or they're all acting like complete assholes because they have oil rigger trucks and think that their giant vehicles with 4x4 will protect them from anything. Except other oil rigger trucks with 4x4.
It started out slushy this morning with wet snow but it dropped quickly in the morning which meant that all that slushy snow I had under the car when I drove to work froze under there and now my car makes this wicked noise when I'm idling. It sucks and makes me think there's something WRONG with my car but I know it's because of the snow. I kicked massive chunks of ice from the wheel wells so there's some frozen chunks under the car, too, I know it.
I was supposed to go to the therapist tonight but because of the weather I canceled the appointment and rebooked for next week. Instead I ended up falling asleep on the couch for a couple hours and it was great. I have to catch up on sleep a bit just so I won't be so tired on Thursday for the midnight show of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (EEEEE!) and will be able to enjoy it without worrying about how tired I am. I don't know if I'll go from work and take a nap or what. We'll see.
When Abel was kidnapped AGAIN I was kinda like, "Jesus Christ, if we have to go through another fucking ten episodes of this fucking kid being dragged all over hell's half acre I will cut a fucking bitch". Seriously. I came into this show late and I marathoned the whole show to two episodes ago in a little over a week. so I was able to enjoy the series in a quick fashion, without the time to reflect on the episodes between each one. Normally when you do that I find that it's easier to overlook the drawbacks to shows and particular seasons because you can just start the next episode right away and not worry about waiting a whole week for resolution to something that's so effing frustrating.
But I can say that even marathoning the first eight episodes of this season in a couple days felt like it was dragging on. This whole storyline is played out and needs to be moved the fuck back to Charming. I look forward to the brief moments we see Tara in captivity because at least it's something different, with the regular lighting and tone of the show and it's in CHARMING.
Speaking of good ole Tara, I'm sure she'll be fine. She's a resourceful, plucky young lady, isn't she? I really enjoy her. She's kind of a refreshing change from the wallflowers and people who are totally hardened. It's interesting to have watched her transition from someone on the outskirts, at best, to someone who has thrown herself, wholeheartedly, into the thick of the criminal element. All for love. And family, I guess.
Gemma, on the other hand, is totally hardened. I mean, props to her for doing what needed to be done, but holy hell. No one watching actually expected her to do something to the baby, of course, (and if anything had happened I'm sure the audience would have outcried loudly that it wasn't necessary) but even pointing the gun at the baby's head was quite something. On the one hand I want to say good for her, but on the other hand--whoa.
So Mo put John's letter's in Jax's bag, right? That was his? I don't know if this is an attempt to steer the storyline back to the season one plot of Jax discovering the original intent of the MC and trying to aim it back at that or if it's just "let's fuck with Jax" season but I was kind of annoyed by that whole thing. I feel like we don't totally know the whole story of what happened between John, Gemma and Clay (I say that because since I marathoned the show I probably missed a few things as I ploughed through the storylines so I don't know if I have skipped a few details of everything to this point) and maybe that's supposed to be the revelation and aftermath for next season? I mean, I don't know if there can be anything more to reveal after Jax and his sister (how useless has SHE turned out to be?) had sex, so who knows?
Just go back to Charming, boys. Jax, go find Tara and tell her you know about the baby and get her back (you stupid moron).

During this scene all I could think was, "His phone's ringing! Get off him!"

I love her hair. I don't trust her. But her hair is awesome.

I wonder if the priest will die on screen. He's such a twat.

Ohhhh shit.
