Can we talk about Twilight?

My LJ is down or something right now, of COURSE it is right now when all I want to talk about is freaking Twilight.

I'm kind of ashamed to say it but I took booze into the theatre with me. But I'm not ashamed to say that I'm SO FUCKING GLAD that I did.

Three minutes into it I was laughing.

Jacob? Awkward.

Bella? Awkward.

Mike and Angela and... bitchy girl and... Asian guy? (Whatever, their names are unimportant in the grand scheme of things) ALL SO AWKWARD.

Edward? FULL OF EYEBROWS.

The scene where Edward first meets Bella and smells her was HYSTERICAL but it SO WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE. Everyone in the theatre was laughing but it was supposed to be one of those torturous moments because HE WANTS TO KILL HER.

There was a lot of laughing in my theatre but I was losing it through the whole thing, which pissed off the people in front of me, I guess, but I didn't notice in the least.

I went in with very low expectations, knowing it was going to be horrendous, but I didn't expect it to be like that. I had to apologize to my friends for insisting we go. But I have to go again now because wow.

Why did Kristen Stewart a) shake her head like she had Parkinson's when she spoke to Edward and b) why in the hell did she blink so much?! Was it her ever-loving conscious screaming inside her to run away from this movie and she was having a violent fight within herself over saying the lines she had to?

And Stephenie Meyer. STEPHENIE FUCKING MEYER was in it. UGH. I just.... I JUST.

I can't. It was ALL SO BAD IN A VERY BAD WAY.

But yes, I will go see it again. Maybe when we do I will be able to reign in my laughter and/or not feel rage over it. It's JUST SO BAD.
