I don't think they cut THAT much out of it, I don't think. They didn't show the board with the nails going into Gogo's head or her bloody eyes but from what I can remember they didn't change the fight THAT much.
BUT BUT BUT! When she killed O-Ren and the camera pans up to see the top of her scalp where her brains are showing they blended the top and stretched her forehead so she looks like a conehead!
