summer_skinI think there was something else I wanted to say here or do or SOMETHING but I'll be damned if I can remember what it is.
But hey! I posted fic earlier today! Crossposting will follow and I might even post icons.
I saw Sookie and Bill having sex this quickly as her reacting to her grandmother's death. Everyone else who was an intended victim was having sex with vampires (Maudette and that other one) and then they thought that Sookie was already boning Bill so hey, why not off her too. But I think Sookie felt like she wasn't going to run away from the idea that someone wants to kill her for being with Bill, so if they're going to hate her and want her dead, it might as well be for the right reason. Like- I dare you to come after me, now. And also just for herself, obviously. But now she's on her own, pretty much. She's pretty much disavowed her brother, her uncle is Not. Wanted. by her and her grandmother was like- the "sane" member for the Stackhouses.
FTW in this episode: Tara and Lafayette, for real. Good LORD I love them. Lafayette is a bit scary with the whole drug thing but he's so awesome at the same time. And HI TARA. Be my bff?
My heart about ripped out when Tara's mom got up there in front of everyone and then tried to get Tara to come back to her. That whole thing... it just hits really close to home, although in my experience there was never a real "demon" involved. I know how Tara feels and I felt so bad for her, especially at the end when she broke down and went back to her.
FTL: Jason. I don't get the point of his character other than that he was in the book so they kind of have to bring him along. He's just so absolutely useless.
On Anna Paquin's boobs: wasn't expecting those.
I'll miss grandma Stackhouse but I look forward to seeing how Sookie will tackle the next part of her life, especially now that she's taken that major step with Bill. We will see, we will see.
