I'm not sure what the general fannish consensus is but I liked the finale, I think.

I liked that it brought everything together. I did like the intensity and the OMGWTFness of it all cause everytime something was revealed that's what it felt like. We all knew or had an inkling that Cassidy was the other kid who was being molested although I have a hard time believing that Cassidy would have had any interest in sports as far as participating goes so it was probably at the urging of his father that he was a bat boy, which would have played right into Woody's sick belief that he was helping the boys.

I'm not sure how I like making Cassidy be a complete psycho but I guess I don't care either way. It was certainly not something a lot of people were expecting, I think, so that was good. As far as Cassidy raping Veronica I'm really not sure what to think of that. It seems a little convenient because we thought we had settled it last season, but I suppose there may have been some plotting out making this happen this season. It was just odd, is all.

One thing I find with this show is that so much happens in a short span of time and you want the chance to react but more stuff keeps happening so it doesn't really allow you to, and also the characters sometimes act like it wasn't as major as it was. So it doesn't necessarily allow you to get the full impact of something. It felt a little rushed in this episode like that but they had a lot of crap to fit in this.

I have a hard time believing Veronica would send a message quite as incriminating as the one she did to Mac AND that, as a computer nerd, Mac's text message font is comic sans. :| :| :| I know it was just a plot thing to get Cassidy to realize someone was on to him, but still.

I feel HORRID for Weevil. What a shitty exit for him. I thought that the writers would at least get him to walk across the stage. So sad. :( :(

I'm not sure how I feel about the ending. I've already mentioned how I'm rather 'eh' about Veronica/Logan but this seemed rather out of the blue. A couple episodes ago he was with Kendall and Veronica was heartbroken and now that he saved her from Cassidy in a lifethreatening situation it cancels that all out? As Sandra Bullock said in speed, "Relationships that start in intense situations generally tend not to last" or something like that.

I enjoyed the reaction to Veronica graduating. And the Principal's reaction as well. It'll be sad to see him go.

The resolution to Jackie's storyline was needed although it was a little sad and lame. Poor Wallace. But now he's free to romance all the ladies at college!

All in all, I liked it but there were some things that made me scratch my head. Very... different, I guess.
