Yeah, that definitely has something to do with why I'm watching, too. Especially since he's in one of the group promo shots of the cast. That makes me happy he's going to be in more than a couple eps and I'm really looking forward to seeing how he'll be in this.
It doesn't hurt that the subject matter is something a bit more entertaining to me than that last show he did, Vanished. I don't think I made it past three episodes, even for him. :(
