summer_skinWords cannot describe how freaking excited I am that tomorrow is Friday. It's insane. I feel that I haven't really been at work all week, or that I haven't put in my time. I feel like a bit of a slacker because of that but ALL WEEK there's been shit to take me away from it. Monday was the assessment, but I went in after 5 to finish. Tuesday I was gone, Wednesday I left early for my therpy appointment, today I took a longer lunch so I could go to the tire store. UGH. Might have to leave early tomorrow to GET the tire on the car, if I can. We'll see. Might be able to make it in the last hour before they close. It wouldn't be so bad if there weren't so much goddamn traffic EVERYWHERE in this city!
I was supposed to have plans tomorrow night but they've thankfully been cancelled but I don't know if I should just come home tomorrow night and try to stay awake or go see The Town which I SO want to see. I don't know. Also want to see Easy A. I like Emma Stone and have found the clips and trailers amusing that are on the internet. Hopefully those weren't the best parts.
This show just doesn't mess around, does it? I love how some episodes are slower than others but there's very, very rarely ever a filler episode. Every episode plays into the bigger scheme of what's going on, even though the side stories may take a bit more presence in the 40 minutes.
I'm surprised at how much I liked Caroline as a vampire. It never occured to me that she would have to experience everything about becoming a vampire on her own. Don't know how she didn't kill the nurse on her first go, though.
I wonder how long they can keep Matt in the dark about all this. Although if things go the way that perhaps I have an idea they might it's not like Caroline and Matt will be together for much longer. I kind of got a vibe that maybe Caroline would be taken under Stefan's wing and through him trying to teach her how to live a straight vamwpire life that they get close enough for something to happen. Not that I think he'd fall in love with her but I could see like--them spending time together, Elena getting a bit jealous and maybe trying to distance herself from the vampires in her life and breaking up with Stefan, freeing him to look toward Caroline for a moment. But that's totally just a theory. Something happened in the books between them but she wasn't a vampire, either. So who knows?
I liked the scene between Damon and Jeremy at the end of the episode. I miss the Damon/Alaric scenes so in the meantime while Alaric's off doing whatever he's doing (for the time being, anyway) Damon and Jeremy might be fun. I can see fic potential.
I don't know if I like Bonnie right now. Well, since she came back from her absence after her grandmother died, really. The change in her from the start of first season to now is SO drastic, definitely the character with the most change, I think. Her whole personality has changed and she's harder now. I guess I get it, what with finding out of her lineage and how she's tied to the vampires against her will and her only link to that lineage now being killed as a result of the vampires--that's harsh. But Bonnie's gotten COLD.
Poor Matt and Jenna. It's going to be such a long time before anyone clues them in to what's really going on, if they ever do.
I kind of hope Mason turns out to be a bad guy. I don't know why. I'm also still not interested in the werewolf storyline. Eh.

I felt bad for the dude she killed. A) he was hot and B) maybe he and Bonnie would have hit it off. :(
