summer_skinWe have the time shifting package on our satellite now so that means we get all the channels from across the country and all the American networks from the east cost and in between and EVERYTHING so it makes it easier to both watch and record stuff.
ANYWAY. That means we also get the local CTV channel from back home, where they have something called Greco pizza. Twice now in less than a half hour I've seen a commercial advertising their eggrolls stuffed with donair meat.

Also, Pan Am is pretty fun, I was a littke disappointed that The Playboy Club was cancelled (and I'm the only one) but I'll be fine and I audibly "ugh'd" a couple days ago when I read on my twitter that Whitney got a full season pickup. Seriously? Anyway.

Okay, so people chasing me is actually one of those things that scare the piss out of me but I never think of it until someone IS chasing me or I THINK someone's chasing me and in either case I'm screwed, right? So this episode was actually pretty freaky to me. Like, thinking there's nothing going on even though something creepy has just happened and then BOOM!
Crazy lady in the face.
And then she's not just crazy she's POSSESSED and she's fucking CHASING you and not just fucking CHASING you she's doing the Olympic high jump up your staircase so she can eat your face off or whatever it is that demons want to do.
So yeah, this episode was fun that way. I don't care if it makes me a pussy, this episode freaked me out in those moments.
Faye was uneven yet again, I found. She's trying to be all badass and bitchy and yet she's also trying to show her softer side a bit? I don't know. There's just not enough there to flush out her whole person. Her accent was aslo pretty bad in this episode. But I like her, don't get me wrong.
Didn't like Diana too much in this episode for the reasons I brought up last week. I WANT to like Diana and I think the actress is doing what she can with the role but I'd really like the writers to make her less insecure and more above it all without making her a grandmother in comparison to the other characters.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of this plot unfolds and lays the groundwork for the second half of the season, if that's the sort of timeline that Williamson and co are going to follow.
OH! And while I'm rather indifferent on the side of enjoying the Melissa/Nick tryst that scene with them popping open the buttons on her shirt was AWKWARD. They're SIXTEEN. Keep it under the covers, kids!

She's super pretty and it kinda blew my mind that she was in Another Cinderella Story and also that she's from Calgary! She's super pretty with longer hair.
Second time tonight a CW character's been cockblocked by another character. Both emergencies.
No comment. But BWAH.
They have some great chemistry together. I always feel like they're constantly going to fall into an illicit embrace whenever they're together.
