The past few days for the Fcukers have been filled with a lot of Chad Michael Murray talk. torturemysoul's written some (or is writing some), keepaofthecheez has written some, I'm working on some for slashfest and wendy's just generally evil and an enabler.

So tonight I asked lostt1- if you HAD to choose...

So guess what? There's something NOT JUST Supernatural related going on right now! It's called Pushing the Envelope and is located, conveniently, at pushingenvelope. It's a multi-fandom fic challenge where you write a fic based on a fic warning like the ones people put in their headers (non-con, beastiality, daddy!cest, swearing [yeah, some people warn for this], breathplay, etc). Author's Notes: This was written for salt_burn_porn, from the prompt made by moosesal. I cheated just a little because I've had the first four or so paragraphs kicking around for months now but this just seemed to come together, and it sorts fits in with wendy wanting drunken tattoo fic, although there's no licking. :(

Every little bit counts, right?

So promote_spn posted an entry earlier tonight about the Couch Potato's Choice Awards that Kristin from E!online does every year. I know she hasn't been nice to SPN fans in the past and she's about as reliable as a bag of broken hammers (yeah, I don't know what that means, either) BUT we have a chance to get SPN in her poll!

At the promote_spn entry there's a list of all the categories that were used last year, and there's a chance to suggest new categories for this year. I filled out all of the categories that I possibly could with SPN and added a few new categories and emailed it off to her. The idea is that WE (as fans and people submitting to this poll) have a say in what choices appear in the poll. The more people who suggest SPN choices for the poll, the better chance we have of appearing on the poll and possibly winning the show some Couch Potato awards.

Remember, Kristin's polls are usually based on how many people vote, I mean cheat. I MEAN VOTE, so I've posted the filled-out SPN categories behind the cut as well as the blank categories, if you don't agree with what I've got filled in. The answers that I emailed were discussed by the Fcuk chat so it wasn't just me pulling answers out of my ass. Bottom line? Anything we can do to get the show publicity and more recognition, right?

I think it would be cool to see these votes with as many SPN choices as possible so please, take a couple minutes and shoot an email off to Kristin, even if you don't like her (does anyone in this fandom really like her anymore?). And suggest new categories, as well!
