Made it to 16,186 on BigBang between yesterday morning (at like 3am) and right now! I'm so jazzed. That's over 4000 words. This means I will very likely be able to finish it by Friday night at 11:59pm, which is very, very exciting to me.
Jared is still... too whiny and weird for me at this point but it could be because I'm SO CLOSE to it. I find I have this problem often with writing. I try to set out a problem plot point for the boys, or any character, and then they get fucking whiny and weird about it. They just drag it out and become girls about it and I want to slap them.
But yeah. After Friday I'll be putting out a call for betas because this thing is going to need MAJOR help to get it together. It needs to be tightened up, it needs to make more sense, it needs consistency editing because I'm sure I've screwed up more than one thing in it.
I have at least one sex scene, the end part (which could end up being three scenes) and at least one more scene near the beginning-ish to do and to loosely tie up the starting scenes that are already there (and depending on how that goes I might not need the other new scene there) and I'll call it good, which is exciting. I imagine the sex scene(s) will be very brief right now since I kind of hate writing them most of the time, and then fleshed out better in re-writes.
So yeah! Exciting times! And once I get this thing finished in draft form I can move on to other writing and icons!
Is anyone else having issues with their Ad Blocker add-on right now? I'm finding ads popping up where there haven't been ads before in all the time I've had Ad Blocker. Like in my yahoo mail and on websites and things. I've been doing some blocking to make them go away again, but still. I did unblock a few things today but they were certain tinypic servers that somehow were blocked in general, instead of for individual images but nothing like the shit I've been seeing today.
