I was going to finish the request icons I took from a couple weekends ago like--yesterday, but I just wasn't feeling it. I only have a couple left to do.
Anyway, I did this meme and I don't want to forget to post it so here it is. If I thought I'd get through them all without losing interest and defeating the point of the meme I would have made graphics for each character/person but oh well.
Happy Early Quirkyalone day, btw! I'm giving homemade zombie-esque valentines to the people at work. You can see one of them here.
Finally, can anyone recommend some apps/extensions or something for Chrome? Especially any tab apps? I have been using tab kit or something on my FF tabs and I miss having a list of my tabs, rather than having them spread across the top. I'm not 100% committed to Chrome but FF has been SUCH A BITCH this past week so I'm testing the waters with more determination at the moment.

Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. Etc.

So, I'm not dead
Oct. 7th, 2010 06:33 pmIt's been a long, bothersome week without any tv or Internet, let me tell you what. I have the iPhone, obvs, so that's kept me up with some Internet things but I haven't seen any of my shows, haven't been capping anything and have been watching a lot of DVDs.
I had to go to someone on the management team at Telus to get my Internet and tv hooked up 5 days early from when I was rescheduled. See, I was supposed to have my services last friday but SEVENTEEN hours before they were to show up I got a message that they weren't coming.
Fuck me.
I have been on the phone and ranted so many times to people there but it wasn't until I talked with someone my supervisor has dealt with in the past for when Telus fucked HER over and he made things happen. In an HOUR!!! And I get 3 months free for my services! Wut?!
So yeah. Would have preferred all this to be hooked up when it was supposed to be but this will work, too.
Long story short? I miss tv & Internet.

Made it to 16,186 on BigBang between yesterday morning (at like 3am) and right now! I'm so jazzed. That's over 4000 words. This means I will very likely be able to finish it by Friday night at 11:59pm, which is very, very exciting to me.
Jared is still... too whiny and weird for me at this point but it could be because I'm SO CLOSE to it. I find I have this problem often with writing. I try to set out a problem plot point for the boys, or any character, and then they get fucking whiny and weird about it. They just drag it out and become girls about it and I want to slap them.
But yeah. After Friday I'll be putting out a call for betas because this thing is going to need MAJOR help to get it together. It needs to be tightened up, it needs to make more sense, it needs consistency editing because I'm sure I've screwed up more than one thing in it.
I have at least one sex scene, the end part (which could end up being three scenes) and at least one more scene near the beginning-ish to do and to loosely tie up the starting scenes that are already there (and depending on how that goes I might not need the other new scene there) and I'll call it good, which is exciting. I imagine the sex scene(s) will be very brief right now since I kind of hate writing them most of the time, and then fleshed out better in re-writes.
So yeah! Exciting times! And once I get this thing finished in draft form I can move on to other writing and icons!
Is anyone else having issues with their Ad Blocker add-on right now? I'm finding ads popping up where there haven't been ads before in all the time I've had Ad Blocker. Like in my yahoo mail and on websites and things. I've been doing some blocking to make them go away again, but still. I did unblock a few things today but they were certain tinypic servers that somehow were blocked in general, instead of for individual images but nothing like the shit I've been seeing today.
