There's no one on my buddy list and I got attacked by a plot bunny. Like whoa. So, question for my American-type peeps. Your reserves programme for the military (one weekend a month, one week a year, or something?)- you can join that while in university/college, right? And they recruit on campuses? That's pretty much all I need to know, I think.

Yes you can join the reserves any time after you turn 18 and yes they recruit on both high school and college campuses.

WHich of the WInchesters are you sticking in the military? I am intrigued!

Sam. But it's more of a means to an end for this fic. He's not really IN the military. I just need it for more background info. But he'll still be connected to the military somehow. Um... yeah!

Reserve Officer Training Corps, ROTC, sometimes pronounced "Rotsee".

Not all colleges and high schools permit them to recruit. I'd check the Stanford website if you are thinking of doing this to Sammy because Stanford is a private school and doesn't have to let them in. Many northern California schools (I live in NoCal) do not let them in because this is where all the hippies who stayed hippies went.
