First off! spn_iconathon! What's this, you may be asking? It's a season 1 marathon-like icon contest where yes, you DO have to sign up but there are NO eliminations and you can join without waiting to be approved. There ARE points, however. We've got 22 challenges, with some bonuses along the way all aimed at giving someone a bright, shiny gift certificate to Amazon or LJ or something.

Most of the challenges will probably relate in some way to an episode from season 1. Examples include guest stars, different-sized icons, John, Mary, monsters, etc. The great thing about this challenge is that you don't need skips and if you miss a week or two you still have a chance of bouncing back to win! Third! missyjack also posted a discussion question on Evil!Dean being hotter than Evil!Sam. This got me thinking about something else, though. Who would best the other in a bare-knuckles, no-holds-barred brawl with NO WEAPONS- Evil!Dean or Evil!Sam?

I posed this question to Fcuk chat and it went back and forth. This is hard! I see it that Dean would fight dirty. Not a care in the world for baby brother Sammy. He's also more compact and has been hunting longer. He's also more fight first, ask questions later. HOWEVER. Sam wasn't a slouch during his time at Stanford and has that mind-fuck thing working for him. I'd see him playing with Dean, holding him at bay and making him more and more angry so he'd strike out immediately and tire himself out. THIS IS HARD, PEOPLE!

Seriously- who would win?

Yeah, I'm kinda leaning more toward evil!Sam, too. I think in the end he'd totally trump anything Dean could come up with, especially without weapons.

Ok - taking any discussion of sam being part demon and his special powers out of the equation, I believe that evil!dean (possessed by demon) would kick evil!sam (also possessed by demon) ass.

Yes, Sam is taller. But Dean is stockier and bulkier and likely has more muscle. His center of gravity is lower too, which would help with stability etc. Don't get me wrong, I think it would be a close fight, but I think in the end, Dean would win.

Dean is all woobie because mentally he is vulnerable to Sam. However, if he were evil, he wouldn't care. He'd just go all hunter psycho crazy on your ass. Sam, evil or no, is just to skinny boy lanky for me.

Assuming the demons are reliant upon the physicality of the body they inhabit, I say Dean. By a hair.

i'd have to say eSam becuase of two things 1) he's ginormous 2) I think Dean's desire to protect Sam would shine through even when possessed. Some little bit of him would hold back.

Yeah, I've been leaning toward Sam, too. But more because I think in the long run he would fight way dirtier than Dean. Dean's rather... unfinessed? I guess would be a way of putting it, with his fighting. But Sam's got that whole psychological mind-fuck thing working. I think he'd be EVIL EVIL EVIL in a fight.

Now, ir depends on if we are talking Shapeshifter!Dean vs Demon!Sam or just Dean gone over to the darkiside vs Sam gone over to the darkside.

S!D vs D!S (that is really kind of neat): Sam would totally win, cuz he has some cool Demonic powers.

Dean vs Sam: Dean would totally win, cuz he is just mroe scrappy and has more stamina.

And lol, that is hard. I have no idea who'd win. I'd say Dean, but that is my gut and I can't quite back up why.
