Dean likes marmalade on his toast: y/n? If no, what then?
I'm thinking of getting a new gmail account for actual use and changing my LJ comments over to there so I could use the chat feature (does it work on Macs with Netscape?) on there. I use Yahoo right now. Has Gmail ever worked out needing subject lines or all the LJ emails get grouped into the same bundle of messages? People who use gmail for their comments, what's it like? Anyone switched from Yahoo to Gmail?
The longer I stave off sleep the farther away 4:45am seems.

Date: 2007-07-19 06:20 am (UTC)Wait, people don't like the bundling? I LOVE that it bundles all of my comments together. SO MUCH.

Date: 2007-07-19 06:23 am (UTC)I guess they've figured out how to separate the comments from LJ so each entry or thread gets its own comment bundle?

Date: 2007-07-19 06:27 am (UTC)I like it because when I post, like, a really long fic that gets several comments? I don't have to scroll down past the fic for EVERY time I get a comment (because it automatically just shows the fic once, and then every comment underneath).
If that makes sense?

Date: 2007-07-19 02:23 pm (UTC)Gmail chat is very awesome. As are the labels instead of folders to archive your mails. I also like gmail's feature that automatically hides text passages that appear in a previous mail in the bundle, so you don't have to scroll past your entry every time you get a comment mail and if someone replies to a mail you don't see the whole tail of your previous mails. But then I haven't used anything else for over a year now, so no clue what's particular to gmail and what others have figured out as well.
