I'm in love with True Blood.

I know it's not a good show, at least not yet, but it's not like I watch shows that are winning extreme critical acclaim on a normal basis anyway.

It's not like- Twilight cheesy!bad but it's the cheesy!bad that makes me wish for that world to be real.

Cannot WAIT for next week.

Every time I think "SPARKLY VAMPIRES" I cry a little bit more.

It's funny because everyone in my group LOVES Twilight and I'm all like, "But. Sparkly vampires! And werewolves that are not werewolves!"

I still hold the first one in a special place in my heart because it's like SUCH GOOD crack!fic, you know? That fic that you know is horribly written but it's so cheesy you can't stop until it's done. If you read the other three in the aftermath of the cracky goodness it's not as hard on the head.

All this press about the series and the movie and interviews with S. Meyer, especially, make me want to rip my eyeballs out, though.

It's growing on me quite quickly. I love how it's all twangy Southern and not just mildly Southern. I love Sookie, and Tara kills me.

I told one of my friends it was sorta like Twilight, but kinkier, and with less dazzle-motion.

My Mom said something along the lines of, "I haven't been this excited about having to wait for the next episode of a show in a really long time." And well, Buffy is and will always be my favorite show ever, and I've REALLY been wanting a new vampire show.

And yeah, it isn't GRADE A TV, but it's still good, and I love that his name is friggen BILL. LOL
