I don't want to jinx it by saying anything but I kind of already enjoy this week. For no particular reason. ALTHOUGH. I did buy like- 5 sweaters and two dresses today for $23 at Value Village! 1/2 price day FTW!

I work tomorrow, and then I work after I work, Fringe is on tomorrow and then it's HUMP DAY! Whee! AND THEN AND THEN. SUPERNATURAL DAY! Wheeee!

Please do not say ANYTHING about the books. Don't tell me if a character is going to be important in the next one. Don't tell me what did or didn't happen in the books. Don't reference the books. NOTHING, PLEASE. We're one episode from the finale and then I'll read the first book for myself, and maybe the future ones, depending on how well I like the first one (and so far I'm not that impressed, tbh).



Last week I saw some Sookie backlash but it was this week that pissed me off with her. Bill's been gone like- 12 hours or something and she's all over Sam now? I just... her whole reasoning for why she was pissed off with him was ... ugh. I just can't. I can't even.

OKay, so Rene's the killer (DON'T SAY YES OR NO IF YOU KNOW!), I guess. I was really expecting it to be Terry but now that he's been around a bit more I'm glad that it (likely) isn't him. And if he and Arlene get together at any point it might be sweet. Maybe. That woman would walk all over him, though, really.

Bill kinda pissed me off, too. He had KIDS and yet he couldn't handle the annoying new!vamp? I mean, I know it's not the EXACT same as it would have been when he was in his time period but kida are annoying, okay? Kids whine and cry and piss you off and you want to wring their necks, sometimes literally. And he couldn't handle being around the new!vamp for more than a couple hours? LAME.

Wish I could say I'm sorry to see you go, Janice Ian, but I'm not. You were a stupid, evil, nasty bitch. And I am SO GLAD we didn't get another sex scene between her and Jason. For the love of everything holy, I do NOT need to see Jason's ass again, no matter how hot it is. Thanks.

Basically, at the end of this episode, it's just Lafayette for the win. He's the only one who didn't piss me off or make me roll my eyes through the whole thing. Although painting his toenails at the bar just about made me hurl. :|

I thought this episode was really badly written compared to the rest of the season. The one scene I liked was Sookie putting that jerk cop in his place. That was the smart&sassy Sookie I love. Thanks as always for the gorgeous caps.

I agree! The episode just didn't have the same feel to it as the rest of the season has had, didn't have the same snap. It didn't even leave me on edge at the end.

I wanted to smack Sookie in the head this episode. Seriously Bill's gone on vamp business for what a day maybe two and she's all "oh Bill would know I'm in trouble and he didn't come running so he must be gone. I'll just lick your tonsils instead Sam." I think if Bill should've been giving them both an equal dose of wtf.

Jessica tripped me out with her whole list of people she wanted to go kill. Bill just didn't want to be bothered, like he didn't have time for anything. What's so funny is he's all "you have to mainstream" but then he goes around saying "I'm vampire that's the way we do things." Geesh make up your mind.

Eric though, mmmm. I loved that whole scene. That said I'm snagging that photo for the prettiness of Eric's smile.

Lafayette in a suit. He was so awesome. If we have to see Jason's cute butt again I think it should be Lafayette whooping it.

Weren't Bill's children still young when he left for war? And thinking about the time period, he may or may not have a lot to do with their upbringing and children probably didn't sass their parents back then either. :P

I was irritated with Sookie when she dismissed Bill so easily. But on second watching, I thought she looked sad and resigned when she said "He's not coming back." It could very well have been true -- five years in a coffin yadda yadda. She knew the tribunal was serious when Eric, Pam, and Chow came out to Bon Temps to fetch Bill, and Bill kissed her like he might never see her again.

And with her libido jacked up on Bill's V, she's vulnerable that way, too. I'm just trying to find rationale for Sookie's actions. But *none* of those justify hooking up with your BF's hook-up. Fail.
