Another one of the 66 seals have broken (hello Supernatural reference). Heidi and Spencer have gotten married, it seems. Which means procreation is likely next. WHICH MEANS THE FREAKING ANTICHRIST IS COMING. If you don't know who I'm talking about, you're not missing anything, but be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

Also, Summit just green lit the next movie in the Twilight series, New Moon, and it appears that the script is already done. I know they didn't write it in two days but the idea that the way they announced this makes me wish, deep down inside, that they did. *bites lip and crosses fingers* Please please?

In addition to the Mary, Joe and baby Jesus, choo choo train, three snowmen (that don't look alike), three light-up gifts, three carolers, and two midget elves in my front yard there are now a couple of those white wire light-up reindeer in the living room, waiting to go out. Weirdest Christmas story ever? You betcha.



Oh, True Blood. You are something. I have to say, for a finale I'm not sure how well I liked this episode. If it were just an episode it would be okay, but I'm not sure how I feel about this being the end of the season until, what? 8 months from now? I didn't hate it, but it certainly wasn't my favourite episode of the season.

I was expecting Terry to be the killer up until the last episode but now I'm glad that he isn't because I really like the idea of him and Arlene together. I like Arlene depending on the episode but she has a good heart and Terry's just... so goofy.

Have to say, I didn't find Bill's 'rise from the dead' to help Sookie out all that romantic. I thought it was pretty damn dumb, actually. And I'm a bit disappointed hat he didn't just poof into dead dust, in all honesty. I mean, it would have sucked for Sookie (hee!) and it definitely would have put a kibosh on her love life and all but still. Dude was all crusty before he even opened his freakin' front door. If he was walking around out in the sun he should have been dust bustered out there. Period.

Sam's mystery with Tara's new friend is whatever for me. I KNOW, I KNOW. She's important, her storyline will come out next season. Blah, blah, blah.

So Jason's been set up for another fucking stupid storyline next season? PLEASE DON'T SAY ANYTHING IF YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS FROM THE BOOKS.

Was happy to see Michael McMillian as the minister in the church. If he comes back next season I'll think his character is crazy and all but he's so cute. I've hearted him since What I Like About You.

I'm disappointed that Lafayette is dead. I KNOW, I KNOW. IT HAPPENED IN THE DAMN BOOK. But it would have been nice to have him survive. I'LL MISS LAFAYETTE!! *sadface*

As far as Bill's new charge is concerned, eh. Whatever. Depending on what happens between him and Sookie it might be fun to see him and Jessica get it on, at least once. Now that Bill and Sookie are (relatively) okay again I'm bored with them. I think it might be Bill, but we'll see in months and months when the show comes back.

So yeah. Odd way to end the season, imo, and rather anti-climactic. But the show's still fun and there are enough eccentric characters to keep a person entertained. And I really liked Anna's hair at the end of the ep. :D

I don't think there's any way to do vampires sizzling up without it looking cheesy, LOL. Maybe if they'd made him look a little less crispy and a little more sooty it would have pleased me more, aahahaha. I loved this ep right until the "two weeks later" part, which really threw off the rhythm of the episode. I have my doubts about Lafayette being dead, but it's not based on spoilers, just theories and the fact that Alan Ball loves the character so much.

And IMO, the Bill-B-Que wasn't a useless gesture. Sookie was knocked out, and Bill said her name and it was like some sort of blood connection communication, because her eyes popped open right when he said it and she jumped up and whacked Rene with the shovel. Yay, Sookie. I really, really liked it that she fought back with the shot-gun and the shovel. Sam and Bill helped her, but in the end, she took out Rene herself. I hate it when the female is just there to be saved and isn't at all proactive.

I agree with a lot of your True Blood comments, although I'm a Bill/Sookie shipper. His sun walk was pretty dumb - how did he think he would save Sookie stumbling around like a zombie? And he just pops up a few hours later totally healed? It was kind of anticlimactic. Anyway, surfed onto this post to snag caps, so I'm doing that too - Thanks!

Yeah, I agree with all that Lafayette was/is totally the best character on the show. I mean if they can deviate from the books so much with Tara and Jason's annoying ass characters then why can't they do the same for poor Lafayette? Where will we get the comic relief from in Season 2? I mean, come on, he deserved to be saved just for the whole AIDS burger thing alone. (I laughed so hard I nearly cried.)
