I watched this episode last week when it first aired and I meant to write down my thoughts on it then but I forgot. Maybe it's better that I didn't.
I liked the episode because it was good to know how everyone got recruited. All that said I miss old Jack. A lot.

I think I liked Tosh's story more than the others. You could really see how she's blossomed since coming to Torchwood. When she was working for the defense department she was wearing pretty dowdy clothing, she was meeker than she is now. You could argue that that was because of the circumstances she was under, being forced to create a weapon for people holding her mother hostage but I really think that until Jack recruited her that she didn't come out of her shell. Tosh is pretty hot now.
I don't really have much to say about any of the other back stories. I really enjoyed seeing Jack's, but I have no thoughts on it. Ianto's was interesting although after that and re-watching "Countrycide" from series one, I wish we could get a clearer time line on when Ianto and Jack started their relationship.
Why were there balloons and liquor bottles all over Gwen and Rhys' bedroom. Was this shot out of sequence from last week's and this is the episode after the honeymoon or something? Or are they just that slow at picking up after themselves? LOL
I wish we didn't have to wait the extra couple of days to see the finale but I think I might be more excited for Doctor Who season 4 premiere right now. DOCTOR WHO. *squee* But to see them both within 24 hours? HOT.
