summer_skinI have such a love/hate relationship with Twilight. When I first read the start of the series I was all over it. It was like I was 14 again. And that's who it's aimed at, so you know.
Then the rest of the books came and I was thinking, well, okay. I'll keep going and see what happens. By the last book I was gritting my teeth and saying, OKAY S.MEY. TIME TO MAN UP. DON'T MAKE ME REGRET THE TIME I SPENT READING THE FIRST THREE, MMKAY?
I'll buy the movie because I love to hate it and it has Sparklepires in it. I had an awesome time watching it in the theatre with my bffs. The RPF is fun to write, too. RPatzz and Kstew pretty much write it themselves and probably feel deep shame over that. More ammunition!
But finally. FINALLY. Someone has come out and said what a fuckload of people have been waiting for. Thank you, Stephen King.

Date: 2009-02-04 12:32 pm (UTC)To be honest though, I really, really enjoyed Twilight. Sure there were moments that I thought WTF? but there was enough to get me through. However, I despise the rest of the series. I wanted to throw the books out of the bus window more times than I can count. I got through, but I will never read them again.
