Fuck off, brain. I have to SLEEP tonight.

I was watching QaF with D tonight. We just finished the 5th ep and she loooooooves it. I'm so jazzed. I'm SO HAPPY to have someone I can like--physically poke at who loves the show, instead of just harass on the intarwebs.

ANYWAY. So we were watching tonight and she loves Gale. He's so LANKY and tall and legs and EVERYWHERE.

And then I was like, "Could you imagine Gale and Jared hooking up? It'd be all hair and legs and huge arms EVERYWHERE."

And then we DIED. And now I want to write fic, maybe. BUT I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN DREAM UP THE WORDS TO CONTAIN THAT HOTNESS.

Does anyone know where I could find awesome ambient sounds? I found this one and the most awesome one there for me is the pencil.

This is going to sound really weird but I'd like to find some construction-type noises. Like things being hammered. I love that sound, especially when I'm relaxing or even sleeping.

I was going to post it tonight but I have to read it over and likely die of embarrassment at least once or twice, then find a title and whatnot for it so tomorrow, I think. Maybe. Seriously though, when I write sex that's more than a lead in a fade-out I feel like I'm doing it wrong. Oy. But dammit, sometimes things just happen the way they ... happen in your head.

ANYWAY. GOT MY PHONE. It's blue and pretty and I'm still trying to figure things out with it. I have, however, figured out that you DO NOT set your primary personal email up on it with a loud alert to let you know when an email has come in without a) turning the phone off at night or b) turning the alert off at night. No.

I know someone else on my flist got a Black Berry today but does anyone else have one? Esp. in Canada? Or in general?

Got icons to do for Sweet Charity but those will have to wait for the weekend, I think, when I can concentrate on graphics instead of flitting off and doing a million things at once.

For once I'm not behind in the times and actually watched a video!

There are no spoilers for SPN, aside from where they are with filming. If I can read it, anyone can. There might be hints for the movie, I don't know. I've watched the original and don't care about spoilers for the movie so I might not be able to judge that one.

I had the most absolutely bizarre day yesterday. Right when I was about to call you, I heard my dog yelping. I was on set, and she was screaming and shaking. I went to take her into the trailer, and she started screaming again, so I grabbed her because I thought her paw was hurt, and she bit me on the hand, real quick, and my dog would never growl at me or bite me. Never. I found out that there was a short circuit in the trailer, and she was getting electrocuted. It was a really kind of shitty situation. She was just trying to get away from the stairs.

So the My Bloody Valentine 3d trailer went up yesterday (and needs moar Jensen, btw). Yesterday the official teaser for Friday the 13th went up as well. There was one that came out on the 21st that was more of a scene sneak peek (but not Jared). THIS is the official teaser trailer.

I THINK I might have seen Jared in it, for about .5 of a second but the hair looked like late-Gilmore Girls years, when, if you looked at him the right (wrong?) way it looked a bit like he had a Dorothy Hamell haircut. Know what I mean? Anyway, I have no idea if it was him or not, but it was someone that, for that half second, my brain translated as possibly being Jensen.

Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that the Friday the 13th trailer (it's starring some guy I've heard of vaguely. Some Jared guy?) will be released on October 24th with Saw 23472397.

In other news I totally slept 11 hours last night and could do it again tonight.

Truer words were never spoken. If you met Jared or Sandy at a con or saw them in passing at a store or hell, even if you work with members of their families you don't know them personally. He's an actor and as an actor I like him. Beyond that, at this point, I DON'T CARE. And we have no right to know so much that we SHOULD care.

If it affects the way you see him as an actor and it affects the way you watch the show, that's fine, stop watching. But we'll NEVER know the whole truth as I highly doubt they're going to post about it to the internet beyond blanket, vague statements. I couldn't be more pleased about that, either. We're not owed anything beyond performances to the best of any actor's ability.

In other news, why does tomorrow have to be Sunday? It should be Saturday all over again. :(

This morning we received exclusive intel - which has been confirmed - that Derek Mears (The Hills Have Eyes 2, Cursed) is in final talks to play Jason Voorhees in the remake of Friday the 13th for Platinum Dunes, New Line Cinema, MTV and Paramount Pictures. We have also been informed that he is in fact going to be the new Jason, it's just a matter of time until everything is finalized. FRIDAY THE 13th is set to hit theaters everywhere on February 13, 2009. Marcus Nispel is set to direct from a screenplay by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. Jared Padalecki will play one of the teens. [ETA] Here's what Hollywood Reporter said about the role on March 21st:

Jared Padalecki is in final negotiations to star in the remake of "Friday the 13th" that Platinum Dunes is producing for New Line and Paramount. ...

The remake will focus on the serial killer, who will wear his now-iconic hockey mask. Padalecki will play the lead, who investigates what happened up at Crystal Lake.

So I guess it doesn't say anywhere that he's a detective but I still find it VERY unlikely he's a teen, especially from what other people have said in the comments below.

So through a series of events (watching Dawn of the Dead 2004 remake that Lindy Booth was in, who was also in Cry_Wolf) I stumbled onto Jared's IMDB page.

I checked the boards to see what people were saying (or outright lying about) and saw a thread titled, "Perfect Jacob in Twillight." The message continued, "... who agrees?" Only one person did, so far.

I, um. I'm rather at a loss. First, no. Just... no. The more I re-read ">Twilight" and think of it in context with the last two I want to light them on fire a little. Second, Jared's 25. Jacob's 15 when the books start. Third (and this is the kicker), JACOB'S ABORIGINAL.

I shouldn't be surprised by such a thing on an IMDB board, no? OY VEY.

AND OH OH! Instead of making a new post I thought I'd ask about something. I was going through old fic posts for comments to reply to (those ancient ones) and came across the sign-up list for the death!ficathon from last year, which went up on January 3rd last year. I also realized that I missed the picture prompt challenge that I think was done in the late fall of 2006, if anyone remembers that one.

I'd like to do something like that again and I know I'D prefer the death!ficathon (the picture prompts could be incorporated) but I was wondering if a) anyone else had a preference and b) if there's any desire for EITHER ficathon.

Anyone ever notice how Jared sometimes does this thing when he raises his eyebrows and it like- lifts all of his hair and makes it shift like a hairpiece? He raises his eyebrows super high and then that massive forehead of his lifts his entire hairline up by about a foot or something stupid. It's ten kinds of awesome but every time he does it I keep expecting his whole entire head of thick, bushy hair to fall off or fly away or something.

Can I just like, be friends with Jared Padalecki? You know, go to a movie and eat skittles or a smuggled bag of peanut M&Ms, generally make a mess and laugh really loud (more at Jared than the actual movie, though) and then poke him a little when he gets too loud. And then after go out for coffee. But not actual coffee because I don't drink it and I don't think he really needs more caffeine. We could have some sort of cold, whipped-cream drink, however. Although that would have caffeine AND sugar in it, but that's okay. That's Jared. We could sit around in the cafe (because it's a cafe where we get not!coffee. Probably Starbucks) and drink our cold drinks and sit there and talk about the movie at first and then drift onto other things that would probably end with him telling this great story that would make me laugh so hard I'd pee. Not that that's a HARD thing, but still.

Seriously, being friends with that boy... I'd probably die. I'd kill myself in a fit of glee or something. I cannot WAIT for the fics that are going to come out of last night. It'll be amazing. Although I'm not sure the fiction will ever live up to the reality cause they WRITE THEMSELVES.
